Leadership
Jen Nichols,
Executive Director
Jen has worked with youth in community-based clinics in New York City and designed and implemented health education initiatives for marginalized adults and teenagers in the U.S. and overseas for over 40 years. This work included developing AIDS education materials for inmates and staff in California prisons, designing reproductive health programs in Nepal and Barbados, providing counseling at Planned Parenthood clinics and developing curricula for AIDS Project LA. In 2014, Jen became the Volunteer and Community Outreach Program Manager at Bridge the Gap College Prep in Marin City, a nonprofit organization that provides tutoring and mentoring to support students throughout high school and college. Also in 2014, Jen was invited to Daraja Academy in Kenya to help develop their volunteer program -- an experience which would inspire her to found Powerful Beyond Measure. Jen holds a BA from Colgate and a MPH from Columbia University.
Kendra Carr,
